Introductory or Probationary Period
This is the time when you get to show off all the skills and qualifications that were mentioned in your application, resume and interview. We are hoping that you are a good fit for the team and the team is a good fit for you. During this 90 day span you will be deciding if you want to continue the employment relationship and we will be too. Typically, at or around the end of the 90-day time period you will be given a probationary review. This process is very simple. You may be asked to complete a review of yourself. Your manager will also complete a review of your job performance, they will identify strengths and weaknesses in a constructive manner. We feel this is necessary because it keeps you in the loop of what we expect and what we need. There are occasions where review periods are extended or it may be decided that we do not want to continue with employment, these are rare, but it does happen. At the end of your introductory period you also become eligible for benefits like PTO, insurance, etc. you can find information about these topics in the appropriate sections of this handbook.
Your Anniversary
We love employee anniversaries because they signify and commemorate the day you began your journey with us. Some of the things that happen at or around this date are annual reviews and PTO increases. We are happy to brag on and recognize employees who have been with us long term. To learn more about tenure incentives please visit the Benefits section.
